Anyone have a link to a great AMG-GT review? Have heard very little...

I don’t know if I’ve been under a rock or something, but I didn’t really see the “review-a-palooza” that follows whenever a brand-new semi-exotic is on sale. I don’t think I’ve seen any comparison tests with the new Mercedes-AMG GT.

Anyone know how the industry/reviewers are taking it? Did something finally beat the Carrera, or even the F-Type, R8, Vantage, etc?

I think I saw one review that said it was hard to see out of or something, but very little about how it actually drove, haha.

Road & Track did a great review (as always) a few months ago, as I recall.

I don’t think they put their full reviews online though...

As far as the US is concerned, everyone just went to the press events. The bigger press car reviews should be coming very soon since the GT-S is in dealers. Im sure most are trying to get the F-type R AWD. Which 911 to compare with is really difficult though since both sit between the 911 GTS and Turbo. I think the upcoming 911, R8, NSX, GT-R, Viper (shit there’s a lot of refreshed/new cars for next year!) should compare better.

I saw one driving about Palm Springs, and I can confirm it looks awesome. Sounds good too. I prefer its looks over the SLS, but that’s a matter of opinion.

Yeah, it’s gonna be bonkers! I have a feeling the NSX is either going to be a glowing 1st place, or dead-last. It’s just so different, and has so much to live up to.
